who am I

2023

Our body is like clay, constantly shaped by the experiences we encounter, the thoughts and emotions that run through us. Our body remembers and tells better than anyone else what we are and the story with which we present ourselves to the world. Our bodies are also shaped by how we think about ourselves and the eyes with which we look outward. Ultimately, we are the result of a constant dialogue between body, thought and feeling. These three talk to each other all the time and tell old stories, fears, new shocks and fantasies, future glories and all the love we have received, or have not received.

2000 miles

2017

--2000 miles--3,218,688 km--10,560,000 ft-- of separation.
Dividing families, cultures, economies, and human beings.
An obstacle obstructing human rights, a rift created by fear.
The stories and experiences of the people affected by the border, immigration, crime, and the prospect of a wall are varied yet crucial. These are the stories we aim to tell.

What do I have to do to show you I'm human?
I breathe this air, just like you
Walk this land, like you
Brush my hair as do you
Ten fingers, Two hands
Two feet, One head

2018

This experimental video project was born from a collaboration between the American videographer Ralph Cope and the Italian light designer Francesco Concetti.

What happens when we feel locked inside our own bodies?

the skin becomes thicker, the body havier and the heartbeats speeds up.

The need to escape arises.

vinculum

The Vinculum project stems from the artistic need to represent the condition of human beings in the modern society which is transforming us neglecting our true nature: people are born free, spontaneous and communicative with the need of connections and relationships. Two bodies with their faces covered by intertwined threads, connected by the same energy but unable to communicate and to understand each other. An unstoppable journey to find a bond.

We are pervaded by nostalgia for the ancient wild nature. They taught us to be ashamed of such a desire.
We let our hair grow and used them to hide our feelings. But the shadow of the Wild Woman is still flattened inside us, in our days, in our nights.
We all enter the world to dance.
There come moments when it is a must to release a rage that shakes the skies.

body architecture

A site-specific work in which the aim is to create a performance where the landscape, the installation, and the sculpture enhance the movement. The concept digs deep into the relationship between the body and architecture, showing that the body is architecture in itself. It is a salient architectonic form that interplays with the dimensions of space and time.

Exhibit

Based and inspired by a philosophical concept used by existentialist philosophers Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir to describe the phenomenon where human beings under pressure from social forces adopt false values and disown their innate freedom, hence acting inauthentically.

Hamlet

Drama, tragedy, murder.

And love, how big is Ophelia's love?

Immense, immeasurable, pure and perfect.

It is that kind of love that can push a soul throw into an abyss,

"..Fear it, Ophelia, fear it, my dear sister, and keep up the rear of your affection ..."

The dark water, the open arms, in that gesture surrendered, impotent.

The flowers floating on the water, her hair long and wavy.

And her face, that white, almost transparent skin, her eyes wide with amazement, her lips parted, after she gave up her last breath.

This is Ophelia, in her fragility, in the end, in defeat.
